There is no doubt that getting involved in swinging as part of your lifestyle for the first time can be a definite emotional rollercoaster. There is no need to feel sorry for how you feel because it is completely natural; you can’t picture your spouse having sexual intercourse with other person and accepting that very picture can be quite hard for some people. If you are thinking about engaging the lifestyle for the first time, I have a couple of tips that you can use to help you ease the process and enjoy the entire swinging lifestyle faster.

First, you need to make sure that your transition to the swinging lifestyle is smooth. Make sure both you and your spouse understand completely what you are getting into. If you both agreed on trying swinging as part of your marriage life, both of you must completely realize that swinging is just about physical attractions and realizing the fact that one can be attracted to other people yet still deeply in love with his or her actual partner. You and your spouse may be swinging, but that does not mean you don’t love each other anymore.

Now, easing to the swinging community does require practice. It would be best if you can find a swinging couple and have personal conversations with them. Swinging couples are usually glad to help new couple engage the lifestyle, because they understand how hard it is to start. They have been there, and their experiences can greatly help you and your spouse understand what it takes to swing.

Last but not least, take it one step at a time. There is no need to rush things just because you want to get it over with. Swinging is something you need to enjoy to be beneficial to your relationship, and once you can enjoy the lifestyle you can start feeling those benefits.
